Effective September 4, 2026 · Last updated September 4, 2026
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Plaibook websites, web application and mobile applications (together, the “Service”) provided by Plaibook Technologies, Inc., a Delaware corporation (“Plaibook”, “we”, “us” or “our”). By creating an account, joining a club, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, Refund and Cancellation Policy and Acceptable Use Policy, which are incorporated by reference. If you use the Service on behalf of a club, league, school or other organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” includes it.
1. Eligibility and acceptance
You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to create a coach, administrator or parent account. Player logins are created or invited by a club; a player under 13 may not hold their own login, and a parent or guardian must hold it on their behalf (see our Children’s Privacy Notice). By using the Service you confirm that you meet these requirements.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If a change is material we will give at least 30 days’ notice by email or in the Service before it takes effect, except where a change is required by law or addresses a security or abuse issue. Continuing to use the Service after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Definitions
“Club” means the organization workspace created in the Service, which holds rosters, plans, matches, diagrams and related content.
“Member” means any person with a login in a Club, including administrators, coaches, players and parents.
“Content” means anything uploaded, entered, generated or stored through the Service, including roster data, notes, development plans, video links, images, diagrams and AI-generated material.
“Subscription” means a paid plan (Coach, Coach+, Club, College or Pro) purchased for a Club.
“AI Features” means Tekki and any other feature that uses machine-learning models to generate text, suggestions, summaries, diagrams or analysis.
3. Accounts and security
You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your password confidential, and for all activity under your account. Notify us at the address below promptly if you suspect unauthorized access. We may require you to change a password, verify an email address or enable additional security controls.
When a coach creates logins for a team using a shared starting password, each person must choose a personal password on first sign-in. Sharing a personal login with anyone else, or using another person’s login, is prohibited.
4. Clubs, roles and responsibilities
A Club is created by an administrator or coach (the “Club Owner”), who controls who is invited, which roles they hold and which content is shared with players and parents. The Club Owner is responsible for having the right to enter and share the information stored in its Club, including information about minors, and for complying with its league, school and governing-body rules.
Players and parents see only the player they are linked to and only the content the Club chooses to share. AI Features are not available to player or parent logins.
If a Club Owner leaves, the Club may be transferred to another administrator. If no administrator remains, we may suspend the Club and, after reasonable notice, delete it.
5. Plans, fees and renewal
The Free plan is free. Coach and Coach+ are Subscriptions billed in advance, monthly or yearly, at the prices shown on our pricing page at the time of purchase. Club, College and Pro plans are sold under a written order form or agreement, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms.
Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until cancelled. You authorize us and Stripe to charge the payment method on file for renewals, upgrades and applicable taxes. We will give at least 30 days’ notice before a price increase takes effect on your next renewal.
Prices exclude sales, use, VAT, GST and similar taxes, which we may collect where required. If a payment fails we may retry it, notify you and, after a grace period, downgrade the Club to the Free plan. No Content is deleted because of a downgrade, but features and limits of the Free plan apply.
Cancellation, refunds, upgrades and downgrades are described in our Refund and Cancellation Policy.
6. Your Content
You keep all rights in your Content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit and create derivative works of your Content solely as needed to provide, secure, support and improve the Service, and to share it with the people you choose to share it with. This licence ends when the Content is deleted from the Service, except for backup copies kept for a limited time and information we must retain by law.
You are responsible for your Content. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to upload and share it, including any consent required from parents or guardians of minors, and that it does not violate the Acceptable Use Policy or any law.
We do not sell your Content and we do not use your Club’s Content to train third-party AI models. We may use aggregated, de-identified usage information to operate and improve the Service.
7. AI Features
AI Features generate suggestions from your Club’s Content and general coaching knowledge. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. You must review AI output before relying on it and you remain solely responsible for decisions about training loads, injuries, medical matters, selection, player welfare and safeguarding. AI output is not medical, legal, safeguarding or professional advice.
AI Features have usage allowances that vary by plan. We may change models, providers and allowances, and we may limit or pause AI Features to protect the Service or comply with a provider’s terms.
Content you submit to AI Features is sent to the AI providers listed in our Privacy Policy under contracts that prohibit them from using it to train their models.
8. Our intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, drill and equipment libraries, trademarks and documentation, is owned by Plaibook Technologies, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the Service for your Club’s coaching activities. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer or create derivative works of the Service except as permitted by law.
If you send us feedback or suggestions, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free licence to use them without obligation to you.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including Stripe (payments), Supabase (database and authentication), Vercel (hosting), Resend (email) and AI model providers. Their terms may apply to your use of those features. The Service may link to or embed third-party content such as Hudl, YouTube or Vimeo video; we do not control that content and are not responsible for it.
10. Beta and preview features
We may offer features labelled beta, preview, early access or similar. They are provided as-is, may change or be withdrawn without notice, and are excluded from any service commitments.
11. Availability, support and changes
We work to keep the Service available and to fix problems quickly, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features with reasonable notice. If a change materially reduces the core functionality of a paid plan during a period you have paid for, you may cancel and receive a pro-rated refund of the unused portion.
Support is provided by email at the address below. Response targets vary by plan.
12. Suspension and termination
You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from Settings or by contacting us. Club Owners may delete a Club, which removes its Content for every Member.
We may suspend or terminate access, with notice where practicable, if you breach these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, if required by law, if your use creates risk or legal exposure for us or other users, or if a Subscription remains unpaid. On termination your right to use the Service ends. We will delete or anonymize your Content within 90 days, except for information we must retain by law, and we will provide a reasonable opportunity to export it first unless the termination is for serious abuse or legal reasons.
13. Disclaimer of warranties
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE OR ANY AI OUTPUT WILL BE ACCURATE, RELIABLE, SECURE OR UNINTERRUPTED. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THESE EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
14. Limitation of liability
TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, PLAIBOOK TECHNOLOGIES, INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS AND SUPPLIERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR FOR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM AND (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100). THESE LIMITS DO NOT APPLY TO LIABILITY THAT CANNOT BE LIMITED BY LAW, INCLUDING LIABILITY FOR GROSS NEGLIGENCE, WILFUL MISCONDUCT OR FRAUD.
15. Indemnification
You will defend, indemnify and hold harmless Plaibook Technologies, Inc. and its officers, directors, employees and agents from any claim, loss, liability, damage, cost or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your Content, your use of the Service in breach of these Terms or applicable law, or your Club’s collection or sharing of information about minors without the required consent. We will notify you of any such claim and may participate in the defence at our own expense.
16. Dispute resolution and arbitration
Informal resolution first. Before starting a formal proceeding, you agree to contact us at the address below with a description of the dispute and what you want us to do. We will try to resolve it within 60 days. Most concerns can be resolved this way.
Binding arbitration. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and Plaibook Technologies, Inc. agree that any dispute, claim or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (AAA) under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, or its Commercial Arbitration Rules if you are a business. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this agreement. The arbitrator may award the same relief a court could award to the individual party. Hearings may be conducted by video, and if in person, in Delaware or a location reasonably convenient to you.
Exceptions. Either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court, and either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in court to protect intellectual-property rights or to stop unauthorized use of the Service.
Class-action waiver. Disputes will be resolved only on an individual basis. You and we waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated or representative action, to the extent permitted by law. If this waiver is found unenforceable for a particular claim, that claim will proceed in court, not arbitration.
Opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing us within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with your name, account email and a clear statement that you opt out. Opting out does not affect any other part of these Terms.
17. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules, except that the Federal Arbitration Act governs the arbitration agreement. For any matter not subject to arbitration, you and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Delaware, unless the law where you live gives you the right to a local court.
18. Export and sanctions
You may not use the Service if you are located in, or are a national or resident of, a country subject to comprehensive US sanctions, or if you are on a US government restricted-party list. You agree to comply with applicable export-control and sanctions laws.
19. General
Entire agreement. These Terms, the policies they incorporate and any order form are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service and replace any prior agreements.
Assignment. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, with notice to you.
Severability. If any provision is found unenforceable, the rest of these Terms remain in effect and the provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted.
Waiver. A failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of the right to enforce it later.
Force majeure. Neither party is liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond its reasonable control, such as outages of third-party providers, natural disasters or government action. Payment obligations are not excused.
Notices. We may notify you by email to the address on your account or through the Service. You may notify us at the address below.
No third-party beneficiaries. These Terms create no rights for anyone other than you and us, except as expressly stated.
